Call for Proposals: Additional thematic call with four topics
The additional thematic call of the r4d programme invites proposals in four topics. It addresses research gaps in the thematic modules Employment, Ecosystems and Public Health and includes a cross-cutting topic on natural resource governance for sustainable development.
r4d Skills First Coordinators' Exchange
The first r4d Coordinators' Exchange meeting took place in Berne, Switzerland, on 14 January 2016. The 14 participants exchanged experiences, discussed challenges and engaged in a stimulating learning event.
Newly created network maps of the r4d programme
The r4d programme funds currently 28 projects with more than 150 grantees in 36 countries of the world. On the programme website and module sites feature newly created network maps.

The r4d programme organises an information event for potential applicants in the additional thematic call. The goals are to provide information on the key characteristics of the evaluation process in the r4d programme and the specific requirements of running r4d projects. The event also offers the opportunity to directly clarify open questions in the current call for proposals.

   Call for papers: Commons in a “Glocal” World: Global Connections and Local Responses

May 10, 2016 – May 13, 2016, University of Bern

The 4th Regional European Meeting of the IASC invites papers addressing global connections and local responses. It provides a space to advance our understanding of ongoing “glocal” processes and to analyse historically how commons have evolved and adapted to “glocal” changes. Deadline for paper abstracts: 5 February 2016.
