SAVE THE DATES: r4d programme synthesis information events

Getting involved in the synthesis processes of the r4d programme means learning beyond individual projects. Two online information events take place on 17 and 18 May 2018.

In the next four years, the r4d programme offers opportunities for learning, creating and interacting. Synthesis in the r4d programme stands for contextualisation and integration of research findings and procedural learning beyond individual r4d projects and modules.

The goals of the r4d programme synthesis are: (i) Maximising the impact of the results of the r4d programme; and (ii) contributing (outcomes, tools and products) to global debates with a focus on the reduction of poverty and global risk. In order to achieve these goals, the synthesis covers four main topics 1) contributing to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development; 2) maximising impacts; 3) conducting research on complex systems, and 4) learning from partnerships.

We organise two online information events for interested researchers and partners of the r4d programme. You will receive key information about opportunities and will learn about challenges of the synthesis processes. The online information events will be set to match with working hours in partner countries: one with Asia (morning time in Switzerland) and the other one with Latin America (afternoon in Switzerland). Researchers from countries in Africa or from Switzerland can participate in either event.
