Strong representation of project teams at r4d Forum Public Health
More than 50 participants attended the r4d Forum 2016 Public Health. They exchanged about ongoing projects in the field of Public Health and the challenges and opportunities of science-policy interactions as well as mixed methods research approaches.
The r4d Forum 2016 Public Health took place at Château de Bossey, Bogis-Bossey, Switzerland, from 17 to 18 March 2016. Highlights on the two days were the project presentations of the three projects in the thematic module Public Health and three projects of the first wave of the thematically open research module. The keynotes addressing the science-policy interface by Hassan Mshinda (Director General, Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology) and by Labinot Demaj (University of St. Gallen) framed the group work on pathways to impact. The keynote of Alicia O'Cathain (Unviversity of Sheffield) on mixed methods approaches spurred a lively and highly relevant discussion.
