High number of pre-proposals submitted in the r4d Thematically Open Call 2
The 85 pre-proposals submitted are currently being reviewed. Invitations to submit full proposals will follow in July 2015.
A total of 54 partner countries are involved in the 85 pre-proposals submitted in the second Thematically Open Call of the r4d programme. They cover a vast range of topics, spanning from classical medical research to urban development and communication through to new media. All Swiss research universities and many universities for applied sciences submitted pre-proposals. The total budget requested is 41 million CHF. The available budget for the second Thematically Open Call is approximately 6.6 million CHF. In comparison to the first Thematically Open Call the number of pre-proposals increased by 44%; requested funding increased by 46%.
